How to preserve a wedding bouquet

My sister has left on her honeymoon today after being married on friday. When I went into her house today I noticed that she had left me a note asking if I would try and keep her bouquet alive until she gets home in 8 days. Her bouquet is made solely of approx 30 cream long stemmed roses.
I obviously have it in water at the minute and plan to keep it in water however I was wondering what is the best way to preserve a bouquet. If she tries to keep them alive until they start to wilt and die, is it then not possible to dry them sucessfully? What I mean is that if she wants to save the bouquet in the longer term is she better to dry it sooner rather than later?
Also, if she did want to dry it, what is the best way to do it?

keep it as cool as possible, keep changing the water to keep it fresh, add a vase life flower food and trim the ends off every few days. Other than that there is not much else you can do. A florsit may have more idaes so you could try ringing one.

You can dry rose flowers but they shrink, wither and become very delicate to touch and also look very ugly when dry.

Best just to make sure there are some very good photos as memories and get the new husband to buy a new bouquet each anniversary.

Thanks In A Pickle although I think if she did decide to dry it then she would prefer to do it herself instead of giving it to a company to do.

Hang them upside down in a room that is dark, dry, and well-ventilated. Keep the flowers out of direct sunlight to preserve their bright color. The drying procedure will take two to three weeks to complete. Remove the dried flowers and spritz them with unscented hairspray to protect them.
