What is the best type of flooring to lay down? I have dogs and need to have a product that isnt easily ruined by urine. Also, husband is in wheelchair so it has to be pretty durable! Thanks!

I would say ceramic tiles would be more hardwearing for your husband's wheel chair & also more hygienic if your dogs urinate on the floor.
I was going to suggest a heavy vinyl or lino type covering as it would be easier to lay on floorboards. They may need covering with hardboard first to level the ripples and gaps. If you are in the UK, have a look in the 'Yellow Pages' under Carpet and Rug Retailers (they do vinyls too) or Flooring Services. There are lots of places in the Bromley and Bexley edition, so hopefully your area will be the same. They can give you better advice than me because they know what's on the market.
