Do you mean the type of hinge - usually in brass - that projects beyond the face of the door, and that enables a door to be opened by 180 degrees - so it sits flat against the adjoining wall?
If so, I think they are called Parliament Hinges. Henderson certainly make them. Try a decent ironmonger (who may have to order them).

Thanks for that but parliament hinges and projection hinges do the same job but are designed differently and you can't get a parliament hinge less than 100mm.Any further help would be appreciated.
My Mate's quite right about "parliament" hinges............they're a funny shape - rather like bat wings.....

But, a projection hinge is square, just like a regular hinge, except that the hinge pin is further away from the screw holes to project the door out into the room more.

Just Google .............. come back to me if you get nowhere, and I'll have a nose around :o)
