Hi, i bought a tray of 150 pansy plugs. The plastic tray is made up of 150 little cubes, about 1cm x1cm each with one plant in. I'm guessing they were grown from seed in the tray.

I want to start taking them out to pot them on, or plant them out, but they are so tiny, and close together, i'm finding it very difficult. I managed to get 4 out, by pushing up the bottom of each cube, and trying to ease them out, but some of the roots got stuck and broke off at the tips.

Am i missing something in terms of how one is supposed to get these things out? I dont want to kill them!!

I know th feeling! I always use the blunt end of a pencil or pen to gently push the plug out whole. Good luck!
