it all depends on what is covered in your insurance wording, if it it solely to cover the WM then i doubt you can do anything. However, could you claim on your household insurance?

hi yes this is soley for the washing machine, could claim on house ins,its just that the premium will go up again then wont it??
but if your other insurance just covers the w/m why are you expecting them to also cover your floor?
Question Author
because when i rang them and told them the machine was leaking, they asked me about the extent of damage to floor, and when i said the laminate was ruined she said she would send me a claim form, and that i would be able to claim from them. i paid 139 for an extended 5 year warranty when i had the machine,i knew nothing of this it was their suggestion, and when i do make a claim they say its not covered.
