Just moved into new property and heating doesnt work
6 Answers
My friend has just bought a flat and moved in yesterday but the heating doesnt seem to be working. It is a warm air heating system and the unit heats up ok but the fan seems to be busted as no warm air is blowing out. Can she go back to her solicitor or the sellers? Or will she have to fix it herself.
Any advice please thankyou.

A surveyor probably should comment on condensation but its something you can avoid rather than it being a 'defect' . Keep the room ventilated and with an even temperature (not necessarily hot) but not going hot/cold extremes.
