samsung e250 phone memory help please

hi , I bought this samsung phone and i also bought a memory card which i have inserted. the problem i have is that although the memory card is empty, when i try to put music onto my phone the message says memory is full. i have one song on my phone and its 5525 kb. how can i put music onto the memory card?? anyone any ideas? thanks.

which memory are you selecting?

most types I've seen default to system memory - you have to setup which bits use card by default

there are a number of ways to download music to your phone.
1 - download from the wireless web. To access this menu press menu in idle mode and select Browser.
2 - receive via an active bluetooth connection. Your phone's bluetoooth feature must be active and its visibility must be enabled.
3 - Copy music to the memory card from a computer using a card reader attached to a USB port on the computer.Then instal the Micro SD card into your phone.
