ask the landlord or agency in writing to sort it out. What is causing the mould? Are you for example showering without first opening the window? Is it that some muld proof paint on a small area would help?

needs more vents as not enough landlord wont do anything
and wont break lease

Hi, if the landlord ignores your requests to solve the problem your local authority (in UK) has a duty to act on your behalf, they will visit your property and if the mould is a hazard will write to the landlord giving him/her a certain amount of time to do the works, if they do not comply the council can undertake the works and recharge the landlord. What does your contract say? There should be something in there not only about you, the tenant, looking after the property, but also the responsibilities of the landlord.
It would sound like the landlord is in breach of the contract.

If this is the case, then you should write to him, recorded delivery, stating the part of the contract he is in breach of, and that unless he rectifies it by X date, you will consider he contract broken.
