Smeg Oven

I have an integrated Smeg double oven. Can't see a model number - the instruction manual just says 'Integrated Oven'.

There is a capital A on the display at the front. It is permanently flashing. Does anyone know if it should be doing this, and if it shouldn't, how can I stop it?

I've read the manual, but unfortunately I can't make sense of a lot of it. [:o(

You could give Smeg Service a call on 0844-815-0701. They should be able to help, or at least tell you where to find the model number....

Thanks heathfield. I've got a Domestic Appliance Engineer coming tomorrow to look at it (we've had trouble with it ever since we moved into the house 18 months ago).

It's built-in into the kitchen units, and I expect the model number will be at the back. The engineer will probably have to take it out of its casing, so I will get the number when he does.

I hope he will be able to explain the flashing, and also put the other faults right, otherwise I'll try that telephone number. Thanks again.
