I've got ceramic tiles on my kitchen floor. They have creases in the pattern, and dirt collects along the creases, which is hard work to remove.
I've been thinking about getting a steam mop, but my OH says I'll be wasting my money, he doesn't think they'll work well on ceramic tiles. I've looked up some reviews and seen very mixed opinions on them.
This isn't an answer, but I want to report I have the same problem. The mfg wanted to make cheap linoleum to look like fancy tile . The indentations do nothing but collect crude. When I mop the kitchen I can only get 90% of it out. Someday I thought I would get a steamer.
Getting it to try it is a good idea, as long as I can send it back without any quibble.
It always worries me when companies say you can return stuff as long as it's unused. If you haven't used it, how can you know you need to send it back! QVC sound reasonable about returns, so I will keep a look out on QVC.
