boundary fence
I have taken down the hedge between us and our next door neighbours- with their agreement; although the original hedge was planted totally on my side of the original post and wire boundary fence, which still exists.
I would like to now build a 5' high hit and miss fence but I need to know which side of the fence should have the 'fair face'?

If your neighbours get the 'bad' side and don't like looking at the fence posts / rails etc then they can erect their own fence, on their own land, with the good side facing inwards.
Personally, if I have forked out for a new fence then I would want to be looking at the good side.
