Does anyone agree with me that Melinda Messenger has a cheek putting shop owners/managers on the spot, by asking them to supply, kitchens/furniture/ fittings free of charge. The very least she could do is ensure they got full publicity for their cooperation.

I have noticed that she is doing this, but she seems to be going into small independant stores rather than the larger natiobnal chains, and i think possibly there may be a local news story invilved, just a theory, certainly the way it is edited, unless you were familiar with the shops, you wopuld have no clue, this wopuld be great for the shops, as their customer base is obviously local anyway.

I reckon the shop owners are subsided by channel 5 and its all done for a reaction and viewing figures.

She probably goes in off camera to ask if they would be prepared to do this - I don't think the TV company would take the chance that the shop owners would say "no" and mean it!
