Ardus, follow the instructions found on the tub of adhesive.  It's quite easy, just one word of advice, buy a proper mitre square that's designed for coving otherwise you'll end up wasting a lot of time (and coving).
The mitres are expensive if you are just doing a couple of cuts.  I bought a couple of pre cut sections (really cheap) and used them as a guide!

Never cut corners when fixing coving. Always do it properly.
Very good Jamie. You could make a wooden miter faily easily.
