Electricity Certificate
I am renting out my flat and am aware I need an Energy Performance Certificate. Do I also need an Electricity Certificate (by law) as I have had differing advice?

I'm puzzled. Your link (unless I've mis-read it) only refers to EPCs. Dee was asking about the need for an Electricity Certificate. I assume she meant a certificate showing all the electrical appliances had been tested and were satisfactory. So far as I know, this is not required by law although it is a sensible thing to do when letting out property in case a problem arose and a claim was made by the tenant.

Themas, how right you are - I admit to not reading the question properly.
Which set me scurrying to Google to find the correct answer (I knew the one about EPCs).
It seems unclear as this thread confirms. The best answers with references are towards the bottom.
