Does anyone else find that with these liquitabs they don't dissolve properly in a 30degree wash and you end up with a gooey mess stuck to an item of clothing that is difficult to get off. I have been using the Ariel Liquitabs and have also tried Tesco's. I recently got a new washing machine to thought I would go down to 30 degree wash but as this don't dissolve properly have gone back to 40.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Thanks

are you putting too much washing in the machine ? if you overload the machine, the liquitabs won't be able to move around in the machine and perhaps this is why they are not dissolving properly , i've used them for ages and have never had this problem ,and i wash at 30
Yes I have the same problem with Ariel tabs, its so annoying, I dont think I over stuff the machine but I wouldnt do a wash with just a few items in it.
i think its because these new washing machines dont wash using enough water ,yes i know they are supposed to be more energy efficent
used to have this problem, then discovered if the tab goes in first it dissolves ok.also found if a tab did stick to an item of clothing just put it in again with next wash. Also agree with glenis, don't put in too many items.

Thanks for you comments.
I agree with weeal I don't want to do lots of little loads where is the saving there? I don't think I overload the machine. Will make sure I put the tabs in first as Vulcan says if not I'm sticking with 40 degrees, surely a higher degree wash but less washes is a saving?

Have you tried the Ariel gel and various other liquids that don't need to dissolve?
i gave up on tablets and powder after i switched to 30 degrees, they always left some residue. i only ever use liquid wash now, in a little ball inside the machine and never have any problems. i use a scoop of oxywhite in with a 30 degree whites wash and this dissolves no problem.
i find the 30 minute 30 degree programme great and haven't used a higher temp since .....well, i can't actually remember when and i only ever use either asda's own brand or aldi's own brand liquid clothes wash.
I agree with Eth, use liquid instead. Those tabs are such a waste of money. Liquid works out to about one tenth of the cost of the tabs if used correctly.
I'm going to use liquid when I finish the box of powder I have.

It might be a good idea to try the liquid as its quite cheap and can't see that liquitabs can be better after all aren't they just liquid in a funny film coating? Therefore with the liquid you get the same thing without the sticky gooey mess.
