I want to buy a gas BBQ. As I have never had one before
are there any features which make one better than another ? Any recommendations of make and where to buy. When in Asda I saw a 3 burner gas BBQ for only 100 - has anyone bought or used one from Asda ?
Thanks in anticipation

Be sure the burners run from the front to back of the unit and not from side to side. (The controls should be on the fron not on the side). It;s much easier to control the heat in each area of the grill, since you will find that it's best if you can have one area cooler than others...

Additionally, sooner or later, you'll want to rotisserie cook something. Go ahead and but the rotiesserie or at least make sure the unit has the adapations for one you could buy later.

We also like to smoke certain things. Ours (here in the U.S.) is a Weber Genesis and has a smoker box at the side where one can place wood chips... that's a nice touch rather than putting the chips on aluminum pans under the grill... Make sure you get one big enough... at least 500 square inches, inmy opinion... Good grilling!
