pinching ideas - bugs me!

Hello ABers! :-)

Does anyone else get annoyed when people pinch their ideas or copy them??

My Mum has just come over to my house to show me photos of the kitchen she has ordered - it is identical to mine. She has changed the layout of hers (moving a door to do to) so the layout is the same as mine. She wants same units, worktop, sink, floor, tiles, everything.

The only difference, she couldnt stop pointing out, was mine was 4 grand, and hers is 9 k (should have been 25 grand, but has 50% off, and my brother gets trade discount)

I know I should take it as a compliment, but she buys the same clothes as me, same furniture, decorates in sames colours, yet never compliments me! (I had my hair highlighted 3 weeks ago, but she hasnt noticed this!)

Anyone else hate this???????

yeah, but she clicks her fingers and goes out and spends 10 grand like it doesnt matter, when I had to remortgage to get the 5k i needed to do the work here, so its gonna take me years to pay mine off :-(

getonwithit, its not the cost especially, just that rubs extra salt in the wound! she doesnt have to wait and save, just has it, but why cant she have a different style??

you must have such good taste that she wants to copy you! but then again you might have awfull taste and so does your mother!
