Microwave Oven

I need to purchase a new microwave oven as my present one has just packed up! I'm seriously thinking of getting a combination microwave but am I right in thinking that they have no turntable?

I can see the obvious advantage of a combination one, but as I primarily need just the microwave feature, I foresee that the food would not cook evenly without a turntable.

Any recommendation or advice please. Many thanks.

I suggest you spend an hour having a good look at them in an electrical store. Some of them are huge today.

Hi Ethel, how funny, the model you're suggesting is the very one I have been looking at on Comet's web page. You will notice they do not show the inside of the microwave.
However it is a good price but this model is being discontinued. although that doesn't matter to me.

Mine only packed up last night and I particularly want a high wattage one with stainless steel interior and white exterior (I can't be with polishing fingerprints off all the time). The one you're suggesting just fits the bill and I like Panasonic. Thank you all.

Hi Roaldo - have just been down to Comet's and purchased - yes - the Panasonic. Sounds as though similar to yours. Looks smashing, have yet to use it though.

I did see Ethel that it mentioned 'extra large turntable' in the spec. and that's the one I purchased.

I'm now getting new glasses!
