Decided to puchase pvc track for bay window. Is it true that when you bend the pvc it is best to put track into warm water first? or is it old wives tale. PVC length in question will be 275cms (107") approx. with four slight bends. This whole bay window episode is causing me sleepless nights any tips pleeze....?! :-(

I bought one for my daughters house came as a roll. It advised on the instructions to immerse it in hot water for ten minutes made not a bit of difference. Got it up eventually it was like wrestling with a snake!!!!!

Tee Hee, I did same few months ago for bedroom, apart from having power of ABH whiplash as I tried to attach it to brackets, also pinged my windows and eyes, I was forced to abandon project. Even when I tried to dispose of it in my dustbin it kept pinging out 'till I got a pair of bolt croppers (i won't tell you what i did to it after that!) Thought I was saving myself a few quid, only to have to pay out after for a straight pvc track!! What's that expression 'penny pinching pound...?' Anyway I was it! :-)
