yucca plants

Ive got a yucca plant which is starting to lose its to lose its leaves and also has brown spots on it. Any ideas as to what it could be ?

Apart from a mild case of repetition 'to lose its to lose its'
Leave well alone till next year. It will flower

I am guessing you mean a houseplant type so ignore the above post if I am correct as it wont flower and leaving well alone wont help.

You have most probably over or under watered. Check the compost and see if it is too wet or too dry. It should be kept just moist and not allowed to get waterlogged. Old, brown leaves can be removed. Sort out the watering and you should soon see it begin to recover.
