I got turf laid a couple of months back, I watered it regularly and it looked good. Now it has developed lots of dead areas, would watering it every day bring this back to life or is it too late?
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

Oh well I will just have to keep it watered and hope for the best.
i have the same problem with my lawn which i seeded last year and some people reckon its caused by cats urine but im not sure.try a lawn feed for new lawns and keep it well watered to see if it helps,or you could contact the people that laid it for advice.good luck.
some grass used in turf doesnt react too well to the ground that it is laid on i.e. too dry, too soggy, etc. Have you tried any kind of lawn feed?
Question Author
Thanks queen, I will try the lawn feed and also watering.

Good luck with yours.

I haven't used lawn feed tigersam, but I will try that, it was coming on fine, really green and healthy looking and had a lot of growth, then all of a sudden it had all these dead patches in it.
Thanks for your suggestion.
My lawn was practically destroyed by my idiot builders that had everything piled up on it for months I bought weed and feed and sprinkled it all over for a few weeks it has got rid of all the weeds and now looks really nice and healthy
give it a try
