Builders wrecking drive way with car tyre marks

Hi all my mate needs some advice, She has moved in to a new house and the builders are still building new houses around her. She has her own drive to the rear of her house, and shared tuning area with three other neighbors. Last week a builder parked in the turning zone, that meant she could not get her car out she called site manager who did not answer his phone so she had to get a taxi, when she got hold of sit manger she told him to make sure the builders car was moved. When she got back the builder had left big black tire marks all over her tarmac drive and it was the builder who parked there because he was seen doing it. What can she do about it can she make the builders remove the marks or re do her drive

If these really are are black rubber as described, they will be gone after the next few rainstorms.
If they are the impression of the tyre tread caused by pressure on the tarmac (on a hot day), they won't.

it is an impression of the tyre tread on the drive.
it was last tuesday marks are still there.

so what can she do ask the building company (its a big company) to re do dive ?

lol drive not dive.... there is a long one which is from his right side wheel as he had a rear wheel drive car

Hi guysach:

Tell her to get as many details as possible, photos of the marks, details of who saw it etc, and contact her local Citizens Advice Bureau who can provide free legal advice.

I'd take a photo and send it along with a letter to the company MD............but only if the site foreman doesn't sort it out for you. Life can be dodgy if you fall out with builders who are still on site...........

Have you tried talking to the builders first before escalating anything?

she has called many times to get someone say mr..... will give you a call but nothing
