Boiler P&T Valve
Home heating season has arrived. I have noticed that about 1 1/2 gallons of water leak from the pressure and thermostat valve of the boiler per day. Does this mean the valve needs to be replaced or could there be something else going on? Thanks for all advice.

I'm sorry I worded the question wrong and led you astray. It is only the pressure valve that I am talking about. There is an old tag on a similar valve on my water heater that talks about yearly testing of Temperature and Pressure valves. I got confused.
Your answer got me to go back and take another look.
Further investigation reveals: The pressure gauge on the boiler reads about 14 psi. The valve is rated for 30 psi. Leaking valve must be faulty, right?
