I like flash spray with bleach and it keeps the gouting clean as well. Sorry I know it's not an old fashioned make it yourself one but I like the way it cleans.
I find cillit bang (sp?) is best if you have to remove limescale too
try useing shaveing foam it has alcahol in it spray on rub and rinse clean
Cif cream cleaner & an old fashioned scrubbing brush!
Dishwasher tablet dissolved in really hot water - great for baths sinks tiles etc - especailly good for kitchen units. Biological washing powder is also good for baths and shower trays.
Try washing soda with a few drops of an essential oil in. I find it works on most things and cuts through grease very easily - the great plus is that it is so cheap compared to the big name products.
try undiluted white vinegar and then rinse!
