im having a new kitchen white units, black range, black retro fridge/freezer, black floor and wall tiles. theres 3 windows and i fancy having either black or white aluminium venetian blinds (black ones worked well in my black & white bathroom). i also like the idea of a red toaster and kettle. we r also having a breakfast bar and ive seen some nice chrome stools with either black/red or white seats. other accessories ive bought like coffee, tea canister are black and chrome, quite retro. do you think mixing like this will work, also i don't no what colour to pain the walls, any suggestions, tips would be grateful tx
Splashes of red are a good idea but to be really with it, Why not use pink? not baby pink but in your face cyclamen, that will give it the WOW! factor
The walls?... pale Dove Grey.
I think your ideas will work well, as black and white are both on-trend and everlasting. A hint of colour will bring the place to life, either a pillar-box red for a dramatic effect, or even a bold raspberry which would look amazing with some black and white geometric lines. Try to use a range of textures. We have been liberated of Straight lines and all things having to match !
