Plaster Residue off windows???

I have just had my house dashed and the the window panes were covered in a dust. I have tried cleaning them with lots of different things but they dry out with a dusty residue all over them. This was 6 weeks ago. Anyone know of anything I can use which will not mark the glass?

dont use a wet cloth... use a dry one! that should sort it
