People parking on our driveway

We have an extended pavement to the front of our house. In our deeds we have the right to park two cars outside our house, so basically the same as a driveway. We regularly get visitors to our other neighbours parking outside our house, and it infuriates me.
What can I do to stop this problem, and is it illegal to park on a private driveway?

If the cars are on a public highway & are taxed there is nothing you can do unless thy are obstructing your drive, Is the road a private road? If so, different issue.

But if it is in our deeds then is that not classed as our land?
If I was to park on somebodies drive would that not be classed as trespassing?
you could put a sign up saying something like 'private driveway for residents only'
it wouldn't be legal, but it might make people think before parking there.

yeah thanks kjc, our neighbours next door but one have put private parking signs up, so we will probably end up doing this. it's just so annoying how people can be soo cheeky, there is a big carpark across the way where they could park also.
people will get away with parking in car parks and paying the charge if they can.
A polite notice asking people not to park there would be the answer I think.
Do you have to pay for upkeep of this pavement area? I can't see how deeds can give you rights over something which is not yours.
why not put up a fence to discourage them from parking there.
i have friends that stay on a busy street, their down stairs neighbors have parking rights, but do not have a car, so when visiting we just park there, i know they don't like this but if i don't park there it could be half a mile+ before getting parked.
