Laptop Problem -Red screen at startup!help!
10 Answers
Hi there can anyone help me please. when i turned on my Laptop last night the screen Turned red whilst loading up, then normal screen when logging in. When it gets to the normal main screen the colours are fine for a split of a seconded.... then the colour of the screen changes to Red and Yellow ... more yellow than red. can hardly see anything.
When i managed to navigate the mouse to shut down.. the screen turns back to normal colour when it is shutting down. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my laptop? i have tried system restore but still no joy

The bad news is if it's not the driver it's probably a physical fault with the screen, possibly just a connection gone bad, but will require taking apart to fix.
but try the driver first

"when i go to Safemode it all looks normal - why is that?"
In safe mode, windows uses a generic low-performance video driver.
"im confused what to do"
Follow Chuck's link, choose "Select your model" and work you way through the menus until you are at the section specific to your computer. Then download and install the video drivers.
