For Pete's sake - What's all the fuss about this change in returns policy ?

Do people really need 90days to decide if they want that cardigan for little johnny ?

And - dont a lot of people take advantage of M & S - eh ?
Examples which I have heard -

- Buying a dress for a party , wearing it and then bring it back for a refund .

- Getting the kids kitted out for a photo shoot , then bring back the items .

- expecting a refund for a worn bra , after years !!!

I don't understand why anyone would take 90 days to decide that they don't like something or that it doesn't fit them after all. It's quite a bizarre policy. In theory you can get away with never buying anything - just 'loaning' everything from M&S.
You still could if they reduce the loan period, so why are people getting upset?

Why it has taken until this time for M&S to stop encouraging such feeblemindedness is the real mystery.

Only people it ought to be affecting are those who buy their Christmas presents at M and S three months before Christmas ! They would be upset to find that the present that was the wrong size couldn't be returned even days from its being unwrapped.

I, currently, love M&S.......ordered some furniture at one price........took delivery 6 weeks later and the items were in their sale.......2 emails later.......20% refund........magic.
