We have just bought a deep fat fryer. This may seem a daft question, but when you clean it out and change the oil-what do you do with the waste oil? It obviously can't go down the sink. Just pour it into the empty oil bottle and throw it away, or ???
Thanks both of you, I'll have a look next time I take something to the waste tip, otherwise, yes I could pour in into the soil, it's only vegetable oil after all.
My friends (a boys student house) used to have a lard bush in the back garden that they fed with the deep fat fryer (or anything else with fat left over), it grew really well!
Mine has a filter tub so it goes into that first, then I pour the new oil into the fryer and the old oil goes into the now-empty bottle and into the bin
