Hairline cracks on white bathroom basin.
4 Answers
Just over three years ago we had a new bathroom fitted. It includes a rectangular white basin that sits atop a cupboard and is fixed to the tiles behind. Over the last few months we have noticed an increasing number of very fine hairline cracks on the basin. Some are along the top where it joins the tiles, others are in the basin itself. I don't feel concerned about it cracking badly, but it is looking unslightly. I have been putting bleach on the cracks which cleans them, but they reappear a couple of weeks later.
Is there anything else that I can do? Does anyone think that it is at risk of becoming more seriously cracked?
