Cleaning Patio Furniture
6 Answers
We moved to this house in June 2009, and (for £100) bought the wicker (?) patio furniture from the previous owners.
In the house papers we found the original invoice, and the set was very expensive, (over £1,000) and obviously good quality.
I am wondering whether we should clean it in the spring, there is dust etc between the weaving, and it looks rather grubby.
But if so, how?? I do have a steamer that I use to clean tiles, defrost the freezer etc, and wonder if this would be the thing to use, but don't want to run the risk of spoiling it.
If anyone has such a set, I would welcome any advice on the best way to look after it.
I shall get the cushion covers dry-cleaned professionally.
Help, please!
