Not sure where to put this question:-
Does anyone know of a charity that accepts broken jewellery to repair and resell? I'm sure I've seen something about this but can't remember who/where. Not "posh" stuff (like the adverts for gold). TIA.

I believe the Alkzeimers Society will accept broken jewellery. If you check their website, I think there's a facility where you can add your name and address and they'll send you an addressed Jiffy Bag so that you can send the stuff to them. (At least this used to be the case).

Thanks, Whoever. shall give that a go.
most high street charity shops will take in broken jewels.....jewellers often repair free & value for the local charity.
