Does anybody know how to get mould and mildew stains out of silk and satin?

Cover stain in ordinary washing liquid and leave in the sun (on a window ledge for a few days) beware if it is a bright coloured garment this could fade the area though. Then wash as normal. It doesn't always work first time though
