Does anyone have any experience with home automation, especially the x10 system. I am in the UK. I purchased a kit recently from B&Q (reduced down to a ridiculously low price - I assume they no longer sell it) and although the module system works fine, I cannot get the control module to run on the pc - I think that this is a software problem running it on XP for the CM12U.

Anyway, I think I would like to get the whole system up and running and would like anyones experience / advice on running this kind of system.
