I intend to change my cooker but don't know the oven capacity of the one I already have in order to compare. I definitely don't want anything smaller! I have a feeling I have to do some maths!
TIA
Reporting all of this to RSPCA. Home hamster roasting is strictly outlawed by EU statute. Whereas Hamsterjam (which started in Holland) is perfectly OK.
I wish I hadn't asked! I've just come in from work and found 28 stupid answers! ( Old Geezer, you're the sensible one!) SOME of the answers were funny though :-D
I'm glad you all kept yourselves amused while I was out at work! I have actually been laughing out loud but would love a simple answer. Ovens are given in cubic litres so if my O level maths was correct shouldn't I measure in mm and times height by depth by width? Lord knows what answers I'm going to get now!
The height (in millimetres) times the width (in mm) times the depth (in mm), divided by 1,000,000 gives the answer you want in litres.
Put another way, a litre is a cube 100x100x100 mm in size.
But you really need to check the actual dimensions of the oven you are proposing to buy - because a raw amount of volume in litres doesn't tell you that the space instead is in the proportion you would like.
get a black 60cm slot in electric one like mine with a halogen hob and two ovens, the iop oven is a grill too, it;s brilliant and i have no idea of its capacity but it cooks fast as the big oven is a fan oven
Thanks everyone. I'll sort it. I'm thinking of having a range type, Dot but want to make sure the biggest oven is at least as big as the one I've have aready. I'll go to shop with tape measure and then find the best price on t'internet. Cheers! :-)
