My mum recently bought this washing machine. But it seems that it gets so far through the wash and stops for her to add softener then a little while after that it stops again waiting for her to select spin speed. Surely this is not right. Is it not possible to just do the wash the whole way through without stopping. The instructions are not very helpful and I have googled Bush but cannot seem to find a website where I can get an answer. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks

i find the title a bit confusing
what exactly is it, your mum is intending to wash ?
Since it's a recent purchase, I'd guess that it was from Argos (because Argos now owns the Bush brand name):
http://www.pocket-lin...-alba-bush-brandnames

So start by phoning the Argos After Sales Service helpline on 08456 400 800.
