Hard wax on carpet!!

Oh God, I've just noticed wax on the carpet from last night when I blew out a candle and it spilt..
How do I get it off??? My mam is going to kill me!!!!
Please help me.
It's beige carpet and the wax is kinda clear/light whitish in colour..

get a piece of brown parcel paper place it on top on the wax and use a iron on a warm setting ,this will melt the wax and it will be absorbed by the paper simples!

scrape off what you can with a blunt knife, then put a tea towel over it and run a iron over the tea towel on a low heat setting.

I've done this, but used several pieces of kitchen roll. Just don't let the iron get too hot else you will melt the carpet!

Also if you are worried about burning the carpet try using your hair dryer works just as well :)
