I'm posting a link to a light http://www.argos.co.u...archtext%3ELIGHTS.htm and my question is, is this light recessed into the ceiling or do you fit it onto the ceiling itself. The fact that it says its flush means I'm not sure. Does anyone know? If you have any similar suggestions for lights let me know, thanks.

if you read the review, it seems that there is a plate that fixes to the ceiling. I would imagine the light fitting attaches to the plate.
Yep ..
That has a ceiling-mounted plate that replaces the old batten-mount fitting. Wires pull through as usual and connect to terminal block.
If you have an existing pendant or light fitting there, easy job.
if you have a ceiling rose this may need to be removed

I've just got a flex in connector blocks hanging at the mo but thanks for answers.
You fit it on to the ceiling. It is described as "flush mount". That is what this means.
