does anyone know of any regeneration projectswhere peoples homes have been taken off them and demolished and if so how did things work out for them.

I would be very interested in any replies to this because this is happeneing to me at the moment!!

I have only lived here just over a year and don't want to move and don't have enough equity in my property to afford another one anyway.

They say I can have a 'grant' and if I still can't afford another property, an interest free loan, repayable when I sell the house.  But then I would be part-owning with the council, whereas now, I own it all (or the Halifax does!!)

yes my parents are in the same boat they own their house lived in it 40 years the council say they can buy a new one only they aint offering enough for this one  rent a new one for about 65 pound a week or go shared ownership with the council its scandalous
