Cut it off and buy a new lock.
Question Author
sorry if this sounds like a stupid question lol but how and where abouts would you cut it ?
The loop piece that goes through the hasp.Presume you mean that kind of lock, apologies if it is the "Yale" type.If it is the "Yale" type I would suggest drilling through the levers.
Force the door open with a garden spade and then buy a new lock, if you do it slowly enough you won`t rip the side of the shed off
are you inside the shed ?
Question Author
noo im not inside the shed thank goodness or id be having major panic attacks lol
no its not a yale lock its the kind with a round door knob with a key hole underneath?? thanks everyone :-)
If the hinges are on the outside take them off and at least you will be able to get inside the shed to get a hacksaw or ask your friends if they have an electric side cutter and cut it off.
Standard sheds with 2-4 lever locks usually hold a gap, use of a hacksaw or even a angle grinder will work. Take it from a lockpicker and a tailored expert.

P.s you can't drill what you can't see, you might as well just run at the shed with an axe
if its from B&Q the lock probably opens with a phillips screw-driver.....mine does - lol
