I just cut them into 5mm slices lengthways, brush with olive oil, add salt and pepper and griddle or bbq them....delish !!!
I have to ask: what are courgettes? I realize that I could Gaargle it; but, I'm here so I'll ask you lot.
zucchini stewey little marrows...
I like them raw grated with carrot and apple instead of coleslaw lovely with cold meat
Thanks, rowanwitch. That's what we call it, zucchini. I imagine that they use your word for them in Quebec as it sounds like a French word. Zucchini bread is nice.
i've cooked these a few times and they are delicious.

Dave.
You know, you can slice and freeze them. They're only good for soups stews and maybe ratatouille, but better that throwing away.

They are known as zucchinis here in the U.S. and August is the only month that one has to lock their cars here in the rural western U.S.... else they'll be filled up with zucchini if you don't...
Courgettes omelette, soup, stir fry with garlic.
They are good chopped up and added to a stir fry dish such as Kung Pao Chicken
they're great in a spicy tomato sauce as a side dish, or split in hald lengthwise, seeds scooped out and boil for two mins, drain and cool, filled with chopped onion and mushrooms (softened in a little butter and oil first) diced smoked ham or chicken, mixed with some buttery cous cous with some chopped fresh herbs stuff courgettes, sprinkle with cheese and bake for 10 mins
Have you got a farmers market near you where you could sell them?
