Incidentally, I'd always opt for the cheap stuff but the wife insists on something with a green pattern on it. God knows why as it all finishes up in the bin.

What's the expensive stuff??...I buy 'Plenty'...it used to be Bounty.....I get it in SAVERS when it's just 97p for 2 rolls.....otherwise it's £1.60 or thereabouts in Tesco.

I use loads of kitchen roll, I have some super frying pans that really just require a wipe, rather than a full wash. That sounds rather unhygienic but it sure does prolong the life of the pans. [:o)

I blew my refund on a box of Toffifees (probably spelt wrong) ... and bl00dy nice they were too. I'll start the diet tomorrow.

Your missus is obviously keen on everything matching. Not so me .... I agree with you, it just goes in the bin.

I don't know what the make is, but I bought some at the weekend on offer from Sainsbury's. I paid £1.10 for two rolls, said it was on half-price offer and should've been £2.20 for two rolls. That seemed expensive to me .... I sometimes get three rolls for 99p!

No I dont I just buy any old kitchen roll as only really use it for small spills or to use while eating chicken drumsticks

I've just discovered the kitchen roll in Farm Foods (and the toilet roll). It's a quid for two and four rolls respectively and it's really good quality stuff for the price.

I can't remember the name of the brand of kitchen roll but it was a bit more pricey than the others more compact and very efficient at wiping up spills as well as very strong. In the toilet/kitchen roll world you get exactly what you pay for, the higher ended brands are better quality if slighty more expensive as the cheaper ones are poor absorbent and weak imo.

Only Plenty. It's loads better than anything else - I've tried them all, and most disintegrate as you touch them. 97p from Superdrug for 2 rolls. It's one of the few things that does just what the advert says.

Poundland do a nice big gigantic roll called Miracle and it's not half bad.

I buy Plenty Economy which has half-size sheets, but I don't know if it's available in UK. It's practical for small spills and if you need bigger just tear off two.

I never buy anything but a GIANT roll, Fiesta is the name. It may seem expensive at nearly £3 (unless on offer) but boy, does it last. I use it for everything. It's only one layer but very strong & even survives a session in the washing machine! Available at most supermarkets.
