My 3 year old son has been dry and out of nappies in the day for about 8 months now. But he totally refuses to go to poo on the toilet or potty. He will only do it in a nappy! Right now, i have run out of nappies. He really needs to do a poo, but is getting himself into such a state over not going in a nappy. I really don't know what to do. I've even said to him to go in his pants if he's really that scared to go on the potty, but he won't do that either!!! Please please please help! I don't want him to make himself poorly through this. And it's so upsetting to see too. Thanks :)

happy, i dont wish to be disrespectful. but if he is as distressed as you say, go and attend to him , only advice i can give at the moment is put a towel round him like a nappy.
hope things a bit more settled now,
does he use the children seats you put over the toilet seat?
