My brand new whrilpool induction hob will not work .When i switch on it flashes F47. The wiring appears secure and correct according to the diagram on the casing. What can I do??

Are you using the right size and sort of pan?
Not all pans work with induction and it must be the right size.
Thats true, If your not using the right pans they just don't work at all. Also they switch off as soon as you remove a pan from the hob.

I'd bet anything it isn't broken just need to learn a bit more about it. I was weeks learning how to switch the darn thing on but now its the best think I ever bought.

As it is brand new get onto the supplier and get them to fix it. The manual states that the appliance should be checked by a technician.
