Two tapestry cushions have been liberally soaked in OLBAS OIL. The pads have been discarded and the covers have been gently washed three times. The smell lingers. Any suggestions as to how how we might get rid of the smell, without damaging the fabric, would be received with gratitude.

Try soaking in tepid water with fairy liquid for a few hours and then wash again.
Bicarbonate of Soda absorbs smells, so may be worth a try!.....I would either make a solution of it and soak them in it for a while, or maybe even sprinkle it all over them whilst they are dry and leave overnight and then wash them, maybe repeat if needed!..............just a thought!...........may work!...........can't harm I don't think!....
