slug/snail attack

every morning i keep finding slug trails all over the floor & units (various different rooms) have no idea where they are coming from - does anyone know how to stop these little bu*gers from sliming all over my nice clean floors?

You could try slug pellets to kill them. Or sprinkle some salt near the skirting boards, or under the fridge etc.

put a some beer in a dish on the floor they love beer and will crawl into it and drown. but then you have to empty the dish yuk

You ought to find out where they are getting in because if they can get in then so can mice....

Check any air bricks in the room to see if they are intact.

I had the same kate - in the end I found that they've been coming in under the floorboards and getting in through a little gap in the skirting board. I found 4 in the basement before I found their method of entry. At least the consolation is that the next morning, the slime is all dry and very easily brushed off!

thanks for everyone's help - seem to have found 1 of their ways in (gap under garage door) on the look out for any other teeny tiny places that the little blighters can get in :)

Sprinkle salt around the entry holes to keep them away, dont use slug pellets ! Nasty.
