When connecting a domestic FFD gas cooker to natural gas supply, can an LPG hose and fitment be used?

The installer who connects it will tell you (you do realise you are not allowed to connect it yourself, don't you?)
An LPG hose and fitment is different altogether from the natural gas type. Also the fittings on the gas stove itself are different and will need to be changed. And as Chuck says you have to get gas safe fitter to fit it. Unless you are gas safe registered yourself which it doesn't sound as if you are. With gas it's always better to be safe than sorry.
a hose for natural gas is colour coded yellow and for LPG they are red.jointing compounds used for natural gas are unsuitable for LPG
