I want to install a water feature in my back garden ,but i am really unsure about what size pupmp i need ,as the Height of the pond will be 6mts above the sump for water fall ,the pond will let water spill out over the edge of a small 1mtr drop then trickle like a stream down to the sump which is 6mts lower than the pond ,it will then pump the water back up to the pond .any ideas?

Printed on the pump's box will be the total height that the pump can pump to and also its capacity. You can go to a website or retailer and get this info or you can go to a watergarden centre and the people there will help. Always get a pump that is a bit bigger than you need as this will allow for sediment in the filters
