Perhaps a using a flat-head chisel (or even a flat-head screw driver) and the gentle tap of a hammer at the under-base of the tile might work?
You'll have to smash out at least one (assuming it's fully tiled) to get started.

There are 'proper' tools available, but a bolster chisel and hammer should be enough to remove the rest.

... wear goggles, obviously.

It all depends how well tiles have been grouted on, but try gently tapping a scraper between tile and wall and provided they arent stuck like sh_t to a blanket should just flip off.
Rather depends on how they've been put on.

I removed 90% intact from the bathroom in my father's house last year using a wall paper scraper but the adhesive behind was mostly blown - so tapping it it sounded hollow.

Still quite a pain scraping off all of the adhesive still left sticking to the tiles so that they could be re-used.

Also you'll not remove a large number without breaking a few so you need a plan of how to cope with that if you can't get the same tiles.
If they really are well fixed, you could just tile right over them.......... or even plaster over them with the right product
